A plump, well-groomed woman of about 50 stands in the stands at the Ascot horse race. She's wearing a silk pink haut couture gala dress, adorned with appliquéd pink roses. She's wearing exorbitantly expensive diamond jewelry. On her head is a gigantic hat in the shape of a pink rose, a full five feet in diameter. The stands are packed with ladies and gentlemen from the British upper class. The ladies are dressed in gala dresses, the men in pinstripe tailcoats and top hats. Everyone is incredibly annoyed by the woman's hat. They look irritated and have to duck to avoid it. Some are genuinely angry. Only the woman in the hat is having the most fun. She roars with laughter, a glass of champagne in hand.
